In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.

The mission centers on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
