The relatives of teenagers missing after a devastating fire at a bar in a Swiss alpine town are facing an excruciating wait for confirmed information and appealing for clues about their loved ones via social media.
The fire devastated the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of January 1st. Verified video depict the roof structure catching alight as bottles with fireworks are raised in celebration.
Officials have warned that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the fire, which claimed the lives of numerous partygoers and wounded another 119. Officials noted on the latest update that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with the process continuing to name the other six.
In the interim, families and friends have been posting on the internet to plead for any news about their missing relatives who were at the bar that fateful night.
The whereabouts of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are not yet determined, according to an appeal from his mother.

His parent, told media that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around the new year. An representative has clarified that a official announcement of his death is awaited.
Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His parent said that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with a group and ended up at the venue.
